나의 일러스트 작품에는 항상 주인공의 눈이 일반적이지 않으며 그림에서 볼 수 있는 스토리가 현실세계에 있을까 하는 의문점이 들도록 한다. 소망하는 것, 희망하는 것, 생각 등 추상적인 것을 시각적으로 옮기다 보면 유토피아가 생기기 때문이다. <Virtual Space> 시리즈는 대표작 총 5점으로, 각 주제에 따라 볼 수 있는 동물 또는 아이들,

무엇이 그리 불안하고, 무엇이 그리 바쁘고, 무엇이 그리 안심하지 못했는지 매우 이성적이고 매우 쫓기며 살듯하는 시기였다. 동갑내기보다 뒤에 있다는 생각에 그랬었나. 여유가 필요했던 나는 회전목마의 속도가 필요했고, '쉼'이 필요했다.
