라틴 알파벳 디자인은 잉크펜을 이용해 손으로 직접 휴머니스트 캘리그라피를 써보고, 디지털로 옮겨 만든 서체 작업이다. 휴머니스트 캘리그라피를 할 때 나타났던 형태를 최대한 유지하며 디자인 했다. 세리프를 좋아하는 성격이 그대로 나타나다 보니 처음부터 강했으며 기울기 또한 심했다. 뿐만 아니라 획의 굵기 차이가 양극을 띄었다. 나의 대담하면서 소심한 성격을 확인 할 수 있었던 작업이었고, 소문자 'n'이 그 조형을 가장 잘 나타내 주고 있다. 작업 초반, 획의 굵기가 양극을 띄는 성격이 너무 심해서 그 정도를 조절하며 시각보정하는 작업이 즐거웠고, 강한 세리프가 부담스러워 속공간을 생각하며 조절하는 작업 또한 즐거웠다. 어쩐지 이들은 부담스러우면서도 세련미를 보여준다.
