<나의 기질 연구 프로젝트>

미미연구소의 자아 브랜딩 프로젝트 첫 번째는 '나의 기질 연구’이다. 철학자 히포크라테스의 기질론과 철학자 스피노자의 감정론을 미미연구소가 재해석한다. 3단계를 거쳐 자신의 기질을 찾아보고 알아본 후 48가지의 감정을 어떻게 느끼는지, 왜 상대방과 다른 감정을 느끼는지를 연구하는 프로세스다. '기질'은 우리의 근본을 보여준다. 기질에 대한 이해는 사람들과의 관계를 형성하는데 많은 도움을 준다. 기질을 이해하지 못하면, 상대방의 문제점만 보게 되지만 기질을 이해하게 되면 우리 모두는 기질적으로 다른 것이지, 문제가 있는 것이 아님을 이해하게 된다.

One of the first things to do with the self-branding project of MEME LAB is "My Temperance Research" Temperament Theory of the philosopher Hippocrates and philosopher Spinnoza's Emotion Theory is reinterpreted by MEME LAB. 당신의 기질에 해당하는 카드를 설치물에서 가져가 알아본다! 카드 뒷장에는 해석과 나에게 해당하는 기질 결과를 알 수 있으며 미미연구소가 당신에게 전달하는 각기 다른 56가지의 메시지가 숨겨져 있다! 주기질, 부기질에 따라 골라 뽑아서 그 메시지를 확인하는 재미가 있다.

<나의 기질 : 바라보다>

나의 해당하는 기질의 특성을 바탕으로 컬러 감정사전에서는 철학자 스피노자가 '에티카'에서 발표한 행복과 슬픔에 대한 48가지의 감정을 어떻게, 얼마나, 어떤 관점으로 느끼며 기질과 상호작용을 하는지 바라본다. 재밌는 점은 같은 기질이라도 부기질이 무엇이냐에 따라 해당하는 감정을 느끼는 강도가 다 다르다. 미미연구소는 총 192가지의 강도를 도식화하여 쉽게 알아볼 수 있도록 해석하여 제안한다.

<미미연구소 파티션 설치물>

2018년 11월 17일 ~ 20일 졸업작품 전시 현장이다. 미미연구소는 졸업전시를 기회로 실제 연구소 모습을 파티션으로 제작하여 <나의 기질 연구 프로젝트>를 워크샵으로 진행하였다. 여러 교수님, 친구, 8살 아이, 수험생 모임, 할머니, 연인 및 부부 가족, 외국인 커플 등 나이, 성별, 국적 어느 하나 빠지지 않는 총 200명의 사람들이 4일동안 워크샵에 참여하며 자신들의 자아를 브랜딩 했다.
